"...Lionsgate and Marvel Enterprises plan to use Blu-ray Disc to its full capacity with the first double feature release on the format.

The companies will debut Ultimate Avengers: The Movie and Ultimate Avengers 2 on one 50GB Blu-ray disc April 24 for a suggested retail price of $39.99. Prebook is March 28..."

Whoopie. Lionsgate is ready to unload some more piles of cr*p on us. No thanks, I've already seen Stargate, and I want better!!!

QUALITY > QUANTITY anyday!

Sorry for the rant, but this is just a bad idea.

I doubt that 2 movies per disc is bad. But frankly, I know nothing of those two titles. How they are encoded may determine how successful this concept is.

Did they actually release this 2 movies on one disc?

They are cartoon movies, so I don't really see the point in releasing them on Blu-Ray.

I have seen both of the movies, and they are pretty good if you like comic related movies.

I disagree, some of the best looking movies have been cartoons. Ant Bully and The Wild look great! Pretty much everything looks better in HD. Well, maybe not Borat. :)
