Denon AVR2805 zone 2 speaker questions

I have a set of speakers located in my back yard around the pool. I want to play the radio or cd out there without my speakers playing inside. I cannot figure out if the Zone 2 setup will do it or if it is possible. I have a Denon AVR 2805 surround receiver. Thanks in advance

Yes, zone 2 is your answer, but getting zone 1 to be quiet is tough. You need to either turn the volume down, select an unused source or turn off all the speakers. It is not family friendly.
