Denon got approval on their receivers iLINK for SACD transmission (audio only):

Well, now its up to universal players to have this iLINK output and not only Denon (Marantz & McIntosh should also-both owned by the same Company) but all A/V receivers & pre-pros would need this universal iLINK (IEEE1394-FireWire) input. 1 to 2 years? I think its a little late though, unless recording artists start offering alot more multi-channel music.
