Deleting unfinished recordings

Noobs here. First experience with Dish. Got the Hopper 3.

How do we delete a program we have recorded before the program is finished playing? For example, a sports event where you scheduled it to record half an hour after the scheduled time slot in case of overtime? We can delete it once it finishes playing, but don't seem to have that option otherwise. What if we record a movie and decide we hate it 10 minutes in?

Press the Select button on your remote and then select stop. That will stop the recording. Then you can go to DVR and delete the recording.
