DECA/Whole Home DVR Question

I apologize if this has been answered already, but does the modem have to be in the same room with one one the receivers when hooking up the Whole Home DVR?

No, but you have to get an Ethernet cable between the DECA box and the Router. You only need a DECA connection to the Router if you want Internet connectivity to allow VOD.

Which we do. Can it be a powerline connection?

Don't know why not. WiFi should work too.

But then, I am no expert. I did the hard way and pulled cable throughout my house.
