Ouch... I just talked to one of the Big Wigs at one of the Satellite Company distribution companies and was told that business was so dead for them that they probably won't be in business 6 months from now. And this is a MAJOR distributor.
I guess its not just slow here.

I quit DSL a few years back for cable internet. Finest thing I've done in years...Maybe on the TV side, but internet is probably getting stronger as people are ditching DSL.

I did the opposite and dropped Mediacom cable for Windstream DSL. Much happier than before. I think it varies everywhere.

Maybe consumers have finally decided enough is enough and are cutting the cord. There is Comcast news today: they "only" lost 144K TV subscribers last quarter (though their broadband business is still expanding).
