Today we released software Version 1.148. This is a major update and you should update any receivers you may have in stock.

A word of caution, because the way the satellites and transponders are formatted in this new software, you WILL NOT be able to use any old lists you may have made or downloaded from ouir website. Loading these lists to the receiver could damage the memory and render your receiver un-usable.
DO NOT LOAD OLD SATELLITE/TRANSPONDER LISTS TO THIS RECEIVER...
So, where do you find this software? On the DBS6000HD software page of course.

I don't see anything about USALS at all..

Thanks for the info. We had an installer in tech support comparing a few receivers and he was lost when we were insisting that "ALL" receivers have USALS... LOL! Now we know that he wasn't going crazy!

I hope to get a 6000 in a couple of months to use to compare...errr ok I just want another toy.....I can live without the USALS, my microHD and Openbox's work fine on it, but if I spend money on it I want it to have USALS. I almost got one a couple of weeks ago, but kinda held off until they got the blind scan fixed. So that is supposed to be fixed now, so if they get USALS fixed I may get one in a few weeks.

Yes night and day.

A must install firmware. (I only have about 4 hours playing with the firmware)

Old one had a bug where it would show the same transponder for all now fixed.

1.158 for DBS6000HD DVB-S2 receiver.

This is another major upgrade that includes USALS.
