D12 Receiver - No channel 201 until activated?

Is this true? I heard a rumor that you no longer can see channel 101 until the receiver is activated. Can anyone confirm this to be true or not?

This will make it very difficult for me to build head ends...

Probably since there's actual programming on 101, sure you're not thinking of 201 which is the customer info channel.

Well I just opened up a new D12. The new software does blow...Anyone know of a way to bypass the activation process in the software in order to populate just the ch. 201?

No! I need a workaround for this.

I have to be able to balance modulators and crap. This is all done well before I can activate the receivers. I'm working on a D11 now that's giving me this.
