D11-500 problem

I have a D11-500 and have a problem that is a pain in the butt. Occasionally the screen will black out and a DirecTV logo will appear and start slowly moving around the screen. It appears and acts like a screen saver on a computer. It's annoying while watching TV, I have to change to a different channel to get the picture back and then change back to what I was watching. If I'm recording using a VCR, all that gets recorded is the black screen and the logo!
Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

As of right now there is no way to turn off the screen saver.

the screen should not be reverting to a screen saver while you are watching tv, call for a replacement box.
