Does anyone know if it is part of the D* 'Grand Plan' to provide live access to European channels?
I know that on Fox Soccer Channel (FSC) they show a British sports program (Sky Sports News) that is recorded from Britain one hour before it is broadcast on FSC. They also broadcast live soccer from England. So obviously there is a way to get European broadcasts in America.
But perhaps access to these programs is only for other satellite providers and not for the general public.
I would happily pay to get live European programming (news, sports, etc.), even taking into account the time difference - TiVo would really come into its own then!!!
