I called DirecTv Customer Service to discuss new equipment and after speaking to a rep. was put on hold. A few minutes later, the phone disconnected. I immediately called back and after going through the menu once again, a new rep. listened to my request and then put me on hold. After about 5 minutes, I was once again disconnected. Is this a common occurrence? It almost seems like the phones are programmed to disconnect after a period of time has passed.
