Currently bundled with ATT, want to upgrade/get better pricing

HI there- New person here. Been reading through some of the threads and can't locate anything related to this. I currently have DISH bundled with Phone and Internet, but since the upgrades are only handled through DISH (ATT uses DirectTV now) what is my best route to get an upgrade? We have had the DISH for a number of years, and I'm afraid to change to DTV as the in-laws and wife will mutiny. I couldn't find a link to the DIRT team, or I would've tried them directly.
I have a HDTV in the living room, the son has HDTV in his room, and I have an SDTV in the basement that really isn't all that old. Recommendations, please? Thanks!
