Looking at his cut and paste data, I suggest he is using DVB-S card and TSReaderLite software from coolstf.com. I would mention the source if I would post it.

I am searching Lyngsat and it appears that none of these channels were on 61.5/110/119/148. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I realize that the bird is just in test mode now, but I find the Voom Channels with the SAME channel number as 61.5 very interesting as that is NOT the case with HBO-HD and SHOW-HD on 148 and 110. Obviously the same channel numbers caused the Voom Channels to conflict and disappear from several testers STBs over the past few days.

If they keep the Voom Channels on 129 with the same number, that means to me (total speculation at this stage) that they will not want you to have 61.5 and 129 into the same switch or system for that matter.

If that is truly the case, then it seems they must mirror everything on 61.5 and 129.

That seems like somewhat of a waste of dearly needed bandwidth to me personally, but again, we are early in the game here.

But I do find the the current info interesting as to what is in store.

HBO and SHO HD on 148 are leftovers from before E* moved those channels to 110. Some have speculated that they are there for people who have trouble receiving 110.

It makes more sense to keep channels on the same number when moving them around, if only to keep it straight in people's minds. Thanks to the recent software updates, E* receivers are able to more easily handle having the same channel on two different transponders. But that fix only works when the channels are programmed the same - either subscribed or not - which applies to all the dual uplink international channels on 61.5 and 148. E* doesn't authorize people to receive each channel from only one location. They authorize the channel on BOTH wings.

Bingo!!!!!! I didnt realize that everytime i report whats on a bird or uplink activity i had to report what software im using, who wrote the source code, what version it is, how the person who wrote the source code picked his ass at the time and how many times he whacked it before beta and public recived an offical release of the software.

KWSD - WB Sioux Falls, SD is on 148 as is KRNE Nebraska PBS. Looks like maybe our wing locals may be moving to 129. I have KRNE as 9238 which
is different than KYNE, however it's all NE PBS so the same programing.
KWSD 9237 is the same as you show. I think the rest of S.F. locals
are on 110. Looks like they are setting up so all S.F. locals can be received
with one dish 110/119/129.

That appears to be true based on Scott's investigation. At least as far as Voom is concerned.

I would stand corrected, why confuse ppl by wrong terms: the NIT describe DOWNLINK parameters. Uplink have different frequencies and not available for monitoring.

Since dish has to comply with the one dish rule soon, this may be the easiest thing in that case for Sioux Falls

Minneapolis has one channel on 61.5 (KAWE PBS) so they may do that too…move it to 129.

The issue is that the channels on 129 have one level of permission and the channels on 61.5 have another. Once the permissions are set to be the same it won't matter if one has 61.5 and 129 in the same system.
