I just got Dish installed today. I had been with Directv for 6-7 years. I have to say I'm pretty happy although I am really disappointed with one thing. I was told that I would be able to watch the Hornets my home team on CST. I live in Lafayette. I cannot however because it doesn't even show up in my EPG. Does anyone know of a solution. Could I catch it with an FTA setup perhaps? I have no way to catch CST at all.

You should be ok since actually the BR, NO, and Lafayette locals on the same spotbeam. Just different transponders. No need to check signal strengths.

Are the New Orleans locals or the Baton Rouge locals in HD on DISH yet? Is Shreveport on the same spotbeam?
You might be able to get the Lafayette/Baton Rouge beam on 129 in Shreveport.....
