Credit unions fighting back?

I just saw a commercial for credit unions and the spokes person was Lean Rimes pitching for georgiacreditunions.com, guess the credit unions atleast here are trying to bring in new customers who are worried about their banks surviving. Theres local radio adds running now for the armed forces to join the Naval credit union as well stating that they are now taking members of all the branches.

NFCU is the largest CU. I'm a member. In fact, I think around half of all CU members are in NFCU. Great people to deal with.
