OK, NBC/Universal is launching COZI TV as a replacement to its current Non Stop TV service aired on all its NBC O&O digital sub-channels. COZI TV is close to, but not quite, MeTV or Antenna TV, but with some of a few hold over shows from the Non Stop (like Talk Stoop) and some new programs to be developed and aired with at lest a few hours per day that the locals can insert locally produced programming. As of now, the only place to view this Marcus Welby M.D. et al. channel is on NBC broadcast O&O's sub-channel. So, it does NOT have the reach of MeTV. I think for now, the schedule of shows is a bit weak (all from the NBC/Uni library), but they may get better shows in the coming months and they claim to have penned access to other libraries of programming outside NBC/Uni's vault. Mom will definitely be watching this channel for old Marcus Welby and a few others. She also likes the Sherlock Holmes Mysteries TV productions of the 1950's being aired. The Lone Ranger, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, and Charlie's Angels (already on Universal HD in High Definition) are among the other shows to air.
Right now, KNBC, Los Angeles is already airing the new programming, but I thought it wouldn't start until January 1, 2013.
