If you look back at the email, it says, "Speeds UP TO 3X FASTER." That doesn't mean we're all getting triple speeds. Looks like you Scott (and all other Ultimate subscribers) are the only ones with a bump up like that. Mine went up from 18 to 25. Attached is the new speeds from Cox's Website. Chip if you're not getting the proper speeds just call Cox and sort it out with them. It may be that you need the newer modems.Chip, do you have a newer DOCSIS modem?
Check http://192.168.100.1 and see if your modem is bonding to 8 channels or 4. If only 4 you might want to upgrade.

All I know is that if I get some money coming in I'm going to upgrade to the Ultimate. Being able to download at speeds over 15 MegaBYTES a second is damn appealing.

Yes, the max you will get out of that modem (while rated to 171 Mbps) is somewhere around 60 Mbps. You would only see higher if your line was perfect and you were 10 feet away from the node.Edit: I got the Motorola SB6121. Apparently it only does 4 pair down. The SB6141 does 8. Is there that much difference real world?
I've got Preferred here in CT and I just got my latest bill with the new $62.99 pricing....I don't want that pricing. Currently I'm paying 54.99 for Preferred 25/5 in Las Vegas and 54.99 for Preferred 12/2 in Tulsa. I guess I can hope it doesn't go up but Las Vegas is listing the 62.99 pricing for Preferred now.
