This article is over my head, but it just suggests that changing technology can make things once thought impossible possible. How about a 1-foot diameter C-band dish?

It sure would be nice to be able to use much smaller C-band antennas. Not sure if that'll be possible with 2 degree spacing. If only they'd move all services to Ku........

Maybe wouldn't even need a dish. An array of these on a microchip would likely be lots, just point it to the proper satellite. They are using Nm wavelengths though...
