I have 4 year old 522 and 2 year old 622 receivers that I rent from Dish. What would be my total approximate cost to upgrade to a 625 and a 722?

Best to call and ask. Some folks have gotten some pretty good deals. Some, not so much.

I don't see why you'd want to upgrade unless you need a bit more dvr recording space.
