Correct RG6 cabling.

When making a new RG6 cable to connect to the LNBs or the receiver what is the best way to get the best performance:

a) Strip cable, cut foil and cut braid, install connector
b) Strip cable, cut foil and pull braid back, install connector

Or the braid does not make a difference.

buy a cable stripper at lowes

and your answer depends on if you are using crimp/compression or screw on connectors

crimp/compression....it doesnt matter, screw on, pull the braid back...it does matter.

I use PPC compression fittings.
