UVerse in my area just bumped up to 1 TB for monthly streaming bandwidth. So that should be sufficient.

Mediacom has 1TB limit on my speed. So I hope PS Vue includes the local channels for Des Moines so I can DVR them. That's my only holdup for switching off Mediacom TV.

This is my time to respond to this,we had AT&T High Speed DSL Elite service 6Mbps/512kbps, we were capped at 150GB a month,and we could not get Uverse,as long as nobody was gaming or streaming a bunch of movies it was OK for 1 family.

Then because of a poor economy my son and his family needed to move in,then my daughter-in-law's 2 sisters needed to move in and AT&T High Speed DSL service was not OK anymore,we always went over the 150GBs.

A DSL service that was $54. a month,became a $84. a month service due to overages,not only that but when my AT&T bill was paid,the internet usage did not reset until 6 days later,we believed this was a deliberate way to promote overages.

We had Charter cable but because we are 5 miles out of the city no cable company before or now would bring us into the 21th Century it was not considered a good investment because we are not considered a residential area.

Then because of a want to merger our area became viable for the New Charter Spectrum cable and internet service,it felt so good to kick AT&T DSL service out and now we have Charter Spectrum cable internet 60Mbps/4Mbps for $39.99

for a year,then it goes to $59.99,still not bad for those speeds and now we are happy and give Thanks because the Almighty sure works in mysterious ways.

Double the $84.00 & that's how bad AT&T 6.0 Fast DSL is here considering overages(while maybe an exaggeration, nevertheless you end up in triple digits paying AT&T DSL for overages, for what is supposed to be $57.00 per month), & we haven't had an increase in population in our home.

Here's hoping that either Charter or Times Warner or Brighthouse is in your area because they are all merging and expanding to become the New Charter Spectrum cable.

They had to promise the F.C.C. they they would sign up 2 million new broadband subscribers,1 million has to have more than 1 option for broadband,that's where we fell into the 1 million because we can also get AT&T DSL.

They also had to promise no caps for 7 years and no discriminating against high volume broadband usage companies like Netflix.So here's hoping your in one of those areas.Good Luck!

Att uverse, 18mbps, 1 tb cap, and it runs me $60 a month.

The local cable company offers a 50mbps tier with the same cap for $49, but it's not as reliable so I am sticking with my uverse, which has been bulletproof. One dropout in two years, and that was the modem crapping out

I pay Cox Cable $70/mo. for 50 mb/s download speed and a soft (unenforced) cap of 350 GB. Last month I finished with 1.5 GB to spare, so I still don't know what they would do if I exceeded 350 GB. For $13 more per month I could double the data to 700 GB and get 150 mb/s download speed (provided I had the right equipment - lol).

What's interesting is that their current price list in my area doesn't even mention data limits, though if I go to my Data Usage Meter, it has me at 350 GB available to use per month.

But, now is not eventually. And who knows how long eventually will last. By the time eventually gets here, there will probably be an entire different Pay TV landscape.

But yeah, don't bother saving money now because of eventually.

Monthly internet use involves some work files, a little Netflix, Amazon, WatchESPN and Canada and UK tv via vpn. I bet it goes down a 100GB next month, as next week BBC starts requiring a UK tv license to use iplayer

However, I was chatting with a rep on the TWC site a few minutes ago and he stated I have no cap. Before I started streaming seriously, we were using around 400GB (most of that our son) but since I started Vue last Saturday, we are close to 600 GB for the month. Never even tyook a cap on data into consideration until I saw this thread.

Of course, Mediacom has no such restriction. But they do have caps.
