Coolsat 6000 behaving oddly

Coolsat 6000 has been running well, daily, for several years. Recent issues have me puzzled.

I use the favourites to mix and match channels. Mostly it works good flipping from one ch/sat to another. Now jumping to a Hispasat channel from another bird results in a good signal according to the onscreen indicator (green arc) but no audio or video ("no signal" message). Once on that channel, soft reset brings up the audio and video no problem. Navigate away from 30W and back, same problem.

Occasionally RT will come up with video but no audio. Off/on fixes it again. Most of the time it is fine.

Have checked for possible "growing" capacitors on the board, looks all ok.

I have spare boxes (Fortec etc) and will investigate possibility of a bad switch, but just wondering if this rings a bell with anybody?

Is this the situation where it just needs a full master reset?
Too many old channels for it to handle??

possible transponder overload? Lots of blind scan will cause the receiver to "tweak out"
Remove transponders that dont have any channels on them. That should help

Deleted 4 satellite entries with about 50 stns each, no difference, still the same symptoms.

Will keep trying various options.
