Coolsat 5000 Remote

I tried using my remote to control TV and VCR. Channel up, down does not work for (Panasonic) TV and volume control does not work for (Philips-Magnavox) VCR. Also is there a "hidden" button to change TV/Video input for TV in remote?

The up and down arrows did it on mine (inputs).
