Coolsat 5000 Event Timers

Does the event timers in the Coolsat 5000 allow you to set reoccurring timers?

For example, Can you set it to tune to a specific channel every Monday at 7:00 pm.
If so does it have to be powered off and set to "wake up" to this channel, or can it stay powered up to do it?

I would like to coordinate it with a DVD recorder.

as long as the time is correct, yes you can set up a timer

hit EPG (which will be blank), then hit the red button and you can set a timer

Box has to be off (standby) for it to work

reason I say as long as the time is correct is because the CS5000 has been known to switch time (even if you have the time set to manual) when it picks a channel

I had a timer set to go and it kicked on at said time but never kicked off because as soon as the box kicked on (say at 9PM) on that channel the time changed to 2AM or something goofy.
