Coolsat 4x1 DiSEqC 1.2 switch

I am having trouble with the Coolsat DiSEqC 1.2 switch that I received when I bought my Coolsat 6000 receiver. When I disconnect the switch and hook the cable to the L side of the Invacom, I get a signal and I get no signal when hooked to the switch. Would you say that the switch is defective? If so, what kind should I get and where can I get one? Thanks. Dick

you changed in setup telling the coolsat 6000 that there is a switch right. also these switches are very sensitive so powering down the receiver is a must before adding or removing coax.

If you decide to buy a new switch I would recommend a: Diseqc Heavy Duty Chieta, it works well and when I upgraded I saw a big improvement in quality on my 36" dish.
