Containment premiered this Tuesday to 1.72 million total viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, improving on both iZombie‘s Season 2 average (1.3 mil/0.5) and its week-ago finale (1.2 mil/0.5), while giving theThe CW its largest audience in the time slot this season. TVLine readers gave the outbreak drama an average grade of “B+.”Opening The CW’s night, The Flash (3 mil/1.1) slipped two tenths to an all-time demo low.

Very good start and unlike the zombie shows, it starts with a plausible storyline.
