Okay this is a strange one indeed, but my luck of course. Well anyways i finally attempted to make the call and sign up for Dish for the very first time ever just about a hour ago, but sure enough i can't even get threw to anyone to order service! LOL.. This is the problem, i guess someone who had my phone number prior to me was a Dish Subscriber and when i call my number shows in the system as a former subsciber i guess and its directing me staight to billing! As soon as i call the 1-888-Dishtv1 number it asks me automatically if my last four digits of my account are 7580, and i selected 1 initially thinking it was setting me up a new account becasue 7580 is the last 4 digits of my phone number, but when i did select yes it said i had a past due balance of $740 lol and service had been cut since December of 2003 lol.. So anyways called back and selected my only other option 2 on the phone for incorrect information, then it says enter billing statement number etc.. And WONT LET ME TALK TO ANY CSR'S.. DAMMMM... Ridiculous way to start or attempting to start with a new company... IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE NUMBERS SO I CAN ORDER SERVICE... THANKS GUYS....
