Looks a bit like the CW's Supernatural.
Probably why it is being tried, Supernatural has managed to keep going year after year.

Pretty "Meh", IMO. Doubt it will last long. Not familiar with comic, but bound to be a rehash "Supernatural". No timer here.
There is also the movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0360486/?ref_=nv_sr_2 which premiered the same year Supernatural did.
LOL a little...wish it had been creepy in my book, maybe I would watch more. I do like the actor, whoever he is.
I actually liked the movie...why I watched the show...and was disappointed.
