Considering Switch -- Programming Question

Can someone subscribe to Dish and receive JUST local channels (if eligible), HD package, VOOM package, and Superstations? Is there an added surcharge to order ala carte this way? Would I be able to get a 942 with this scaled-down programming?

Welcome to SatelliteGuys...not sure on locals or Supers... 5 buck charge for just Hd pack and 5 extra for V* pack. I think....

$5 fee for not having a basic package. Once you pay the $5 access fee you can subscribe to anything a regular customer can.
