I receive the Sacramento locals on my vip622 with dish 1000.2 my mom has the same issue on her VIP211 hooked to same model dish. She lives 8 miles from me we both have error 015 for about 15 seconds then screen goes to error 536 another 15 seconds then the local channel comes in.

I can also turn the receivers off and on then the local channel will come in. This started about a week and a half ago. All of the satellite channels work fine its just our locals. What gives is there anyone else in Sacramento having the same issue I reset boh receivers did no good.

P.s please excuse my sloppy post I am at my moms home using my cell phone to post. She is frustrated as I am. Thanks.

Assuming all the connections between the receiver and the wall and secure, and there is nothing obstructing the dish, ex. snow, bad weather, etc., performing a check switch test should fix this. Press the menu button, and then the numbers 6-1-1, this will take us to the point dish screen. Select check switch on the right side of the screen, then from the installation summary screen select test at the bottom of the screen. Let the test finish, exit the menus. You will encounter an Attn 015 message. Once this has completed and the guide has finished downloading you should be all set.

Before anyone goes off on 129W as the certain culprit, I'll mention that Sacatomato's locals (both SD and HD) come from 110W.
