Here is my comparison, including my current bill to TWC:
The main reason I want to switch to DirecTV or Dish is because of more advanced DVR features. It started when TWC swapped their decent DVR firmware with a inferior one when I had to take my old DVR in for a replacement.
Therefore quality and reliability of DVR is the first priority, then price and minimum service interruptions.
So, considering these, (eventhough this is DirecTV category) which one would you recommend? I liked Dish's pricing because they include Cinemax for 12 months for a penny, and with usual HBO/Starz for 3 months free.
The important thing about billing is, do they charge a lot of extra fees/surcharges on top of the number I see above? For example Dish is $70/month, plus tax I assume. Will they charge me bunch of frenchise, fcc, regulation, compliance, etc.. fees?
