compare receivers MERC II / TRAXIS

I am looking at TRAXIS 3500 & FORTEC MERCURY II SYSTEMS . I NOTICED THE TRAXIS DOSENT HAVE COMPONENT VIDIEO HOOK UP AND THE MERCURY II DOES, WOULDNT THE PICTURE ON MERC BE BETTER ? HAS ANYONE SEEN THESE TO HELP ME DECIDE ? THANKS

The Traxis DBS-3500 has S-video output as well as regular (yellow RCA port)
video connection. I have yet to hear any complaints about the quality of either, and often hear comments that people are pleasantly surprised about
how good the video is on the DBS-3500. The menu system of the DBS-3500
is much easier to use than the Mercury, so I prefer the Traxis DBS-3500 over the other.

I like the Traxis over my Pansat, the scanning is great and pic looks good to.

I have the traxis and have been pleased. I occasionally have hangups on SBS6 but nothing a reset doesn't fix.
