Hello,

I am about to order ExpressVu. I don't currently have an HD capable TV.

My understanding is that the 9200 and 5200 are pretty much the same other than HD capability. Is that true?

If so, would it be foolish to order the 9200 EVEN if I don't plan on getting an HD tv for a year or so?

I should add that the cost to me for the 9200 will be the same as the 5200. That is what is driving me to make this decision. IF I get an HD tv I don't want to miss out, but at the same time don't want to be stuck with a less capable or less functional receiver.

The 9200 requires at least component input (hopefully you TV can support it) If it doesn't look around for a converter to change to S-video or composite. Also remember the 9200 has a larger hard drive and you can record about an extra 60 hours of SD on it compared to the 5200.
