the current coax i have is belden direct burial rg-6

i picked up 250 feet of commscope digital broadband, which is the same cable comcast uses

which would be better?

Post the model #s printed on the cables or Google this information.

We are unable to comment on the quality of cable based on the name of the distributor.

I've used both they both are fine. I kinda like Belden better, maybe it's the name, been around forever.

Belden is great, but I use Commscope because of the cost and availability. I only use their TriShield F677 series. For my RG11 runs I have both Belden and Commscope, and I did use 1 roll of Times.

I have used both here an both are good grade of cable. I do like Belden better, but for my cabling here only use solid copper center, don't want none of the copper clad for my satellite runs.
