Commercial Skip

Does the current Tivo (R10) box have a 30 second commercial skip? I currently have Dish DVR and getting ready to switch over. I am also still hoping someone can point to where there is a comparison between the R10 and the upcoming R15.

Yes it does... but you have to programm your remote to do it. There are links on here on how to do that.

Play a recorded show then issue these remote control sequences:

Select -> Play -> Select -> 3 -> 0 -> Select

Thanks for the responses. I do not have the equipment yet because I have not ordered yet as I am trying to determine whether or not I should wait for the R15 box.

Keep in mind that the R-15 is almost definitely NOT going to have the commercial skip.
