Commdeck Dish Mounts

Not approved by Dish Network Services, so no Dish tech will be using them since they could lose all money from the install and then some if a Quality Assurance Specialist checks that job.

Independent retailers could use them if they want....

Like anyone will shell out the money for one of those mounts unless the homeowners buys it upfront or installs it themself. They look good but pricey.

I like them and would recommend them, but I won't install them. Sorry, but they lost me at modifying the roof. I'm not a roofer and I doubt business insurance would cover a resultant damage claim from such roof alteration. The times I have worked with one, I've sold them to a customer with the instructions that a roofer install the unit and warrant the roof for leaks as a result of their work. Then I'll come back and put a dish on it. They also sign a waiver that I'm not responsible for any leaks whatsoever.

We had an apartment complex put these up a few years ago when they re-roofed everything. They approved dishes to be mounted on them, and had two per building (about 6 apts per building). Unfourtunately, the trees in the area have all grown, so most of them don't have Line of sight anymore, and the apt manager won't put up any more. Maybe he will when all of his tenants move out since they can't get their dish latino any more.

Note: Not meant to be derogatory at all, this particular apartment complex just has a very large latino population, and they are generally very angry when we tell them they'll just have to cancel, or move.
