New Online Service Offers More Than 950 Video Clips for Some of Comedy Central's Most Popular Programs

MotherLoad ( www.comedycentral.com/motherload ) is a free broadband video channel designed to offer consumers a new way to access original video content and popular programming on the Internet. MotherLoad offers five different content channels with more than 950 video clips and plans to add 50 to 80 new clips per week. The site is airing three-minute clips from original Comedy Central shows, including "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report." Akamai Media Delivery enables the secure delivery and download of these clips, giving subscribers high-quality, reliable streams every time. Visitors to the site can customize their programming line-up, easily add new shows to their playlists and quickly send favorite clips or shows to friends via email.
