Wow. I guess it pays to be cheap, since my non-X1 service was fine. Still, it seems really nice and I'd probably go for it if I had the cash.
It reminds me of an serious upgrade issue at work a few months ago. All 8,000+ stores had severe problems in the pharmacy. My store couldn't type or fill any prescriptions, we could only sell what was ready. In other stores, only one computer worked for typing. The Yuyamas (giant, automated prescription-filling machines) didn't work. E-scripts wouldn't come through. Things that WERE sold didn't get recorded as sold. All due to the usual, once-every-few-weeks update.
