Colorado stocks rise led by EchoStar

An index of Colorado stocks rose for the eighth time in 10 trading sessions led by EchoStar Communications Corp. Navigant International Inc. and MDC Holdings Inc. The Bloomberg Rocky Mountain News Index a price-weighted list of companies based in the state rose 0.8 or 0.3 percent to 253.69. About five stocks advanced for every four that declined with 11 unchanged.
