So who's playing? How is it? I got the delivery confirmation that my PS3 version was delivered yesterday, but have been out of town for work. Can't wait to play some tonight when I get home!
Got to play SP for a few mins last night when I got home. Wow! Amazing so far. I usually try to not play the MP until I've completed the SP so it doesn't give anything away. Not sure how much I like the blood covering the screen when you are hit as it makes it tough to see. Could make MP very hard. Can't wait to play some more tonight!
Agreed :upThis is a awesome game for multiplayer. Not so much for single, the perks and attachments that you can earn make it worth all night play every night. Great game, 5/5
I dunno.. so far I've found the SP mode to be rather lacking. The cheapness level seems to be up a bit where you're constantly shot by enemies you can't f-ing see, it's hard to distinguish your teammates from your enemies, the plot is really hard to believe even by videogame standards, and as far as the "airport" scene goes,
I had quite a bit of fun spraying down innocent "people" that I had no emotional bond to and to me were less endearing than an ant running up my wall, but I found it to be a bit of a smack in the face to go through that then get shot in the end! It was like the game was punishing me for playing the level.
I think next week will be better when Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 arrive. To be fair, I haven't finished the SP mode yet, but all I know is that the more I've been playing it, the less I've been enjoying it...
The game is awesome...on some levels I have the same issue as you can't tell who is who so end up mowing down my own folks sometimes.
The game sucks when you want to have two people play on the same box though as you can't play with two people on Live. Guess they figured you would cheat with that too.
It wasn't a constant back and forth arguing thing like a scene out of "War of the Roses," and I don't typically yell at games anymore because she doesn't like that and we have neighbors with a young baby and very thin walls. She doesn't like me playing video games in the first place (unless it's Rock Band or Guitar Hero for some odd reason) and to see me this weekend playing for stretches of 2+ hours didn't please her much. She's been complaining that I've been playing too much lately, not really understanding that the reason I'm getting in as much gaming as I am NOW is because once our baby comes, my gaming time is going to be cut down significantly. To me it was like seeing an over-hyped movie and being disappointed with it and then coming home and being yelled at for seeing the movie in the first place. That was certainly difficult to read. Had someone been yelling at me while I was trying to enjoy a game I can't say that I would have been enjoying much of anything never mind a game. If I had been cursing at the game my wife would not have enjoyed the experience one bit from her perspective I'm sure.
