Many cable systems around the U.S. have CNN International. What's it going to take for D* to be convinved to add this channel? They must get many requests for it.

It was actually on a shared channel with CNNFN, which bit the dust last year. D* just took both of them off when it happened.

Hey Dragon, CNNI is a very good network. You must be fooled by Fox News Channel claim that they are "fair & balanced". Just watch Fox News channel for your fair and balanced right wing coverage. The rest of us try to get our news from all sources and make up our own minds as to what sounds fair and balanced.

BTW i watch WTAE channel 4 , ABC, Pittsburgh (a hearst/argyle station) upon wake up. before bed i watch WTAE again, then fox. I do listen to Quinn & Rose (www.warroom.com) , Glenn Beck, sometimes Rush and ALWAYS Sean Hannity.

so i watch abc , fox and listen to wpgb, talk radio. so i guess im balanced.

as far as cnni, i dont give a r*ts behind what they think, if it wasnt for us they would all be speaking german and goose stepping.

The more choices the better! I think of Cuba, China, Libya, North Korea, the old Iron curtain countries, the old Nazi Germany and most of the Islamic world where you get one viewpoint and that is all. All others are jailed and allowed to rot away.
I prefer to get different points of view and make up my own mind. Thanks again bgsmallwood!

Watching Mosaic where they show 10 minutes of so of the news broadcasts from middle eastern countries like Syria, Iran, Jordan, Israel, and Kuwait really opened my eyes to what other people in the world are thinking and what their lives must be like.

CNNI is awful. Any opened minded, intelligent person who has watched it knows that they would rather not offend than report hard news. They filter their news and analysis through a political correctness filter and report on so many meaningless stories. When I'm abroad I never watch it even though it's often the only English language channel. Sky News is much more informative and insightful.
