I sure hope E* does not add this channel and use up bandwidth that can be used for 24/7 sports channel

I'd expect nothing less from them, now we will wonder if CNN will be "Balanced" with their Video Content.

At least they're not stretch-o-vision faking it like TNT or the non theater Discovery channels.

Honestly, Voom HD News could use some competition. Fox, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, etc. are all welcome parties to the table.

Next year will likely see a surge of HD sales as a result of more content--chicken and egg. Ask anyone that paid (like 8k) around 2000(?) for a HD "ready" rear projection CRT or plasma how much content was available then. Now, a no-name 32" LCD is available with a tuner for $400. Chicken and egg...always

The new Discovery channels are not in stretched. They are up converted. There is a differece.
