Hey guys! I was messing around with Linux and ended up screwing up my Win XP partition (it's okay...I had all my important stuff backed up) and had to reinstall XP. So, I go to install my satellite stuff, and I can't get TSReader to find my 102g. It worked fine before. In fact, it works fine with the DigitalTV app that Twinhan supplies, and works good with DVB Dream. But I much prefer the simplicity of TSReader. I've tried install the BDA and the WQHL drivers off of Twinhan's website, no dice. EXACTLY, WHAT driver package do I need to get my 102g working with TSReader, because there are three of them on Twinhan's website, and I've tried them all. Obviously, Twinhan and released a different package and something is wrong and TSReader can't see my card anymore. Any fixes? I'm installing the latest version of TSReader as well.

It's been reported by some people that the new twinhan drivers for some reason don't work with Tsreader. So, the solution to your problem is probably to go back to an older driver.

Thanks Stefan. I don't have an older driver set saved, and I'm tossed my box and driver discs. Anyone know where I can get an older driver set, or if someone could be gracious enough to e-mail them to me? I can't find older drivers on Twinhan's website.

BDA's do not work in TSREader.
Huh? There is an ATSCBDA driver included with TSReader Lite. Doesn't get us DVB-S of course. But it does allow me to start TSReader (against my Twinhan 1025 BDA driver), even though it can't tune anything.

I could not get the BDA driver for the Twinhan 1020A to work with TSReader, but WDM worked for me with no problem. Did you try any other software with that card? Maybe the card died.

Not sure if this was in response to me... Like the OP, I can't get TSReader to work with my Twinhan 1025. But unlike the OP, the Twinhan 1025 was never supported by TSReader, and indeed I cannot get it to work with any Twinhan driver. The error message is "The source module you selected didn't initialize." I sure wish coolstf would build a DVB-S BDA source module and support many of these cards, old and new, at a single stroke.

My card works well with DVBdream and MyTheater (after numerous configuration problems). But unlike yours, mine won't work at all with DigitalTV 3.3. DigitalTV doesn't find any channels on any transponder from any satellite. :( Very annoying that Twinhan's own app can't find anything, while 3rd party apps can.

I was not aware of the 1025 not being compatable with TSReader, having used a 1020a and 102g. You are correct, BDA driver support in TSReader would solve all. ROD??

I email Rod to ask him and he replied to me that :The latest builds have support for DVB-S BDA and I’ll likely make the source code available for others to tweak. The “Lite” build currently doesn’t support DVB-S BDA but the upcoming 2.7.46 build will.

Just passing it on to those interested.

Just noticed this on the coolstf website as one way users use TSReader:
Recording the entire mux and later using TSReader as a demultiplexor to pull out the individual programs.
I fiddled with this a little bit using the TS-capture facility in DVBdream (which does work via DVB-S BDA drivers), and it seems to work. But then the audiorip plug-in does nothing.

Has anybody tried the TSreader file input module and gotten audiorip to do something?
