Just thought of another question. I know DTV carries all of my local channels but do they also provide access to clean feeds of NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX. Just wondering.

They carry the NY & LA stations as distants for folks who qualify for them if that is what you're asking

... and HD locals are avail:

High-definition (HD) local channels from DIRECTV are also available in your area. To receive them you will need an HD system
Available Channels
Network Affiliate Local Channel # 3-Digit Channel #
(older receivers) HD Channel
FOX WTVW 7 7
PBS WNIN 9 9
NBC WFIE 14 14
CW WAZE 19
ABC WEHT 25 25
PBS WKOH 31 31
CBS WEVV 44 44

yeah thats what clean feeds are. Some are on C-Band satellite

But other folks think of NY or LA because apparently they dont pre-empt anything ;)

I got ya, really enjoyed that on the C-Band .... wish I could still have it, the cost got to expensive with having to update when I had mine, that was many years ago.
