Cincinnati Locals

Does any one have any idea what is going on with the local channels ( 5, 9, 12 and 19) in Cincinnati Ohio? They have been out for hours.

usually there is an issue that Directv is having getting the signal

I've seen that happen on our local (Minneapolis) CBS when they were doing tower work.

Is it all the locals or just those 4 you mention?

Yes it is all of them. 5, 9, 12, 19, 25, 48, 54 and 64.

Then it sounds like Directv is having issues getting a signal from the locals.

maybe a fibre cut in the area?

Do you have access to the stations OTA? If so try and see if they are still working that way. Otherwise try a reboot

The channels work via OTA just not through satellite.

If you do a reboot and still have the screen then Directv is having issues getting a signal to their uplink

Just checked mine here in Cincy. Still out. SDs are working fine though.

They are back up. According to the other board, a construction crew on Hamilton ave cut up a bunch of fiber and copper lines.

interetsing as both the SD & HD uplink facility for Cincy is the same place
