No, it's when the switch used to turn off their mouth fails and they just keep talking nonstop.

It is due to the fact that your installer did not install a good DPP LNB. I had the same problem and called dish back out and all is good. He even peaked 129 wich was a miserable 50 before now at about 63 for the lowest TP.
I haven't noticed any big problems yet. I do have some lower readings on 129(50's and 60's), but yesterday TP30 was at 81 when I looked.
I talked to Dish support. Said not to worry about the error code in the check switch unless other problems or errors ocurr.
On a side note: I got a really nice gal on tech support line. I could understand her and she was actually quite pleasant.

As long as the reciever locks on all satellites your aiming for, ignore all error messages such as switch type, etc.
I just sent the the 622 team an email on this just in case it's 4.01 related. I got a message saying error detected, run check switch.
