check switch 44 problem??

have a dual lnbf with a 91 and 82. they run through a multi-switch44.
the 91 channels are coming through fine (did it with only 91 installed first). but the switch check says
"warning, only one satellite connected". it doesn't even see the 82. it
just shows XXX. when i check the signal strength for the 82 it says
wrong sat and is red and is at around 80%. i know the switch is not
damaged. could this be an aiming issue. i'm thinking this could also be
a glitch with the check switch thing.

sounds like an aiming issue. If you run a line from the 82 LNB to the receiver (bypass the switch) you should get 82 on the receiver. Once you have both 91 & 82 aimed, then hook the switch up.

Do you have the elevation and skew set properly?
