The DVD has an aspect ratio of 1.85, so why does a 4:3 showing qualify as OAR?

You mis-interpreted me. Voom is showing it in 4:3, but I didn't know if that was OAR or not. I assumed since it was not the standard 16:9 that it was OAR. However, IMDB lists it as 1.85:1, so definitely not OAR.

So that question,brings up the why would Voom do a 1.85:1 movie in 4:3 format??? Any thoughts???
