When VOOM first started up, I bailed from DISH, and never looked back. DISH lied to me for months and just treated me like crap. I loved VOOM, and I will miss it...

Finally got my SC system ordered (well, preordered due to the DSR530)... all excited waiting for the happy day until.. my wife founds out that her beloved Monsters channel from VOOM is now on DISH.. ARGH!

So now she's backpeddling on the SC idea. I really don't enjoy the idea of setting up two dishes w/ DISH (one for 110/119 & one for 61.5), and I really don't enjoy the though of going back to DISH..

*sigh*... maybe I just need to get a new wife instead of a new sat provider!

maybe this will help, i have a ten foot cband, bev 6100,comcast digital hd, plus im working on fta, when i figure out which unit to buy. it is, all about a access.

I loved the Voom channels, but Dish Net. NOOOOOO. I have StarChoice and I am happy. I have Directv also and they are talking with Rainbow Media about the Voom channels in the future. I had crappy customer service and lied to from Dish Net. I felt that it was not worth the trouble to go back to them. since I was an exsiting (former) customer I would not qualify for the Voom channel deal they came out with. I would have to go with a two year contract and I would receive my HD package w/ Voom for half price. I told them to fall off a cliff. BS BS BS
