I Sub to the HD Package, how will that affect the transfer on my Pocket Dish with an HD only package?

A: You will not be able to transfer HD Programs to your Pocket Dish, you could use the SD Version to transfer...

Is there a way to call your home number and set your Dvr from somewhere else?

A: You will be able to go to our websites... sling.com or dishnetwork.com and program your Dvr (sling if you have a sling product) and possibly your Cell Phone... Coming in 2009.

I want to upgrade to a 722 Dvr and the new Dish, will I be able to receive all of my signals off the new dish or will I keep the old one also?

A: Typically you will only need the new dish, but it is possible you will keep your old dish as well.

Can you record a program from the Dish Dvr thru a USB cable to the External Hard Drive?

A: No not directly ? (changes mind) Yes you can? (Editors note: Not right now going to add this as a byte (record to EHDD)to clarify)

(Of course, I have absolutley no idea if it's just my machine, but it seems than other, much more knowledgable people are having the same problem.)

My suggested course of compensation is as follows:

1. Provide the good citizens of Indianapolis, IN locals in HD
2. Provide every DishNetwork subscriber with 10 new HD channels before the end of the year, included with their current subscription tier.
3. Don't terminate indianafanatic's service on account of his mindless ranting...
